Taking the first steps towards therapy can feel daunting, especially when you’ve been managing on your own for some time. But remember, seeking out counselling is not a sign of weakness, in fact it's a very positive and proactive step toward feeling better and taking care of your mental health. When you're ready, I'm here to listen.

Hello.

At times, you may encounter issues that feel too difficult or complex to share with those around you. Sometimes having a safe and confidential space to work through these things can feel incredibly helpful and healing.

In our sessions, you can expect to be heard, understood and accepted without any judgement. My role as a person-centred therapist is to facilitate an open and non-directive environment where you can explore your thoughts, feelings, and concerns at your own pace. Whether you're dealing with everyday stressors or facing deeper emotional challenges, I'm here to work through these issues with you and provide support along the way.

Getting Started

The counselling process will unfold differently for each person, based on your own unique needs and expectations. I know from personal experience that finding the right therapist is key and would encourage you to explore until you find someone you feel comfortable with, who you can trust, and perhaps might even challenge you at times (if that feels helpful!)

I invite you to reach out and schedule a free consultation, where we can discuss your goals and concerns and answer any questions you might have. This will give you a sense of who I am and whether working together feels right for you.

Areas of Experience

While there are no limitations to what you can bring to therapy, I have previous experience supporting clients in the following areas:

  • Anxiety and Stress Management

  • Depression and Mood Disorders

  • Suicidal Ideation

  • Gender, Sexuality and Identity Issues

  • Eating Disorders and Body Image Issues

  • Loneliness and Social Isolation

  • Life Transitions and Change
